PRMG Employees Rally Together to Help Hurricane Victims
With the devastating natural disasters that have been havocking our entire world, it is hard to stay positive sometime. However, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel! Our PRMG employees are proving to be that light of hope! Both Hurricane Harvey and Irma caused major destruction to Texas and Florida, respectively, forcing many to leave behind their homes and with nothing to support their families. Two initiatives containing several PRMG Employees have decided to take it upon themselves and do something to help those affected in these life changing events.
Hannah Rounsaville, Registration Specialist I, took on the initiative collecting supplies for a close friend who lives in Houston, TX and whose home was destroyed leaving them with shambles. With the help of a few other PRMG employees, she collected supplies including undergarments, baby food, adult clothes, toilet paper and basic everyday essentials for this family. “My parents always taught me to help others in need and stay humble. I want someone to think one day, ‘Hey, because of this person, I did not give up on life.’ I like to share my story with others and show them that there are people who care, and there is hope no matter what”, said Hannah Rounsaville, Registration Specialist I.
On the east coast, the PRMG Miami branch is working with the Florida Keys Collection Drive and has already collected supplies such as bleach, toiletries, water, sunscreen, blankets and so much more for those in the Florida Keys area. The goal is to collect as many supplies as possible and then deliver those items to the 47.5-mile marker in Marathon, FL and distribute to those in need. The PRMG Miami branch located at 7190 SW 87th Avenue, Miami, FL 33173 is a drop off site if anyone in the area is interested in dropping off supplies. Kudos to the PRMG Miami branch for taking on the initiative to provide aid to those who can use a helping hand right about now.
These are just two examples of how PRMG Cares in Action is making a difference around the nation. Both are inspiring and laudable acts; hopefully encouraging more of us in the mortgage community to participate in more philanthropic events.
